             HOP-ON-HOP-OFF CITY TOUR

My favorite way to tour a city is with a "Hop-On-hop-off" tour. You buy one ticket and tour the entire city getting off at the many sight stops, stay as long as you want and get back on the next bus and continue the tour. I love this concept because you don't need to follow a tour group and you can stay as long as you want at the sights that interest you the most.

Barcelona is filled with incredible architecture and is a feast for the eyes.

I plan a visit to Park Güell an iconic space in the city of Barcelona, created by the famous Antoni Gaudi and is declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. The venue is steeped in history, and today, it is one of the most famous landmarks in the city, seeing over 9 million visitors annually. It is a beautiful park full of bright colors, interesting architecture, lush greenery, and more!

The park is named after Eusebi Güell, a rich entrepreneur, who commissioned Gaudi to build a luxury residential complex. When the project was abandoned, Gaudí designed a park. Created between 1900 and 1914, Park Guell has been open to the public since 1923. In 1984, it was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The park was made following the architectural style that made Gaudi famous: Catalan Modernism. Spread across 19 hectares, you will find rounded forms, undulating lines, and structures covered in rainbow-colored mosaic and iron gates come together to create a space that is magical in every sense of the word.

Dinner at the "Rooftop Garden" at the El Palace Hotel

This is possibly the largest, most exclusive roof garden in Barcelona. A place filled with secret corners, fragrances and colours, and inspired by the Barcelona of the 20s in all its splendour. Each detail is designed to delight all your senses: ponds, a pool, pergolas, babbling water, over fifty varieties of plants, an haute cuisine restaurant and a solarium that almost lets you touch the clouds.

      FLAMENCO SHOW

After dinner I will see a Flamenco Show at the Flamenco Barcelona City Hall.

Show includes world-class flamenco artists performing in a live show with flamenco dancing, guitars, singers and percussion in a XIX Century stage. The show duration is approximately one hour. A unique opportunity to see the best of Spanish culture.
